Dr. Derek Hyun
Dr. Hyun was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and has a great appreciation for the culture, history, and people of the city. Dr, Hyun is an accomplished Dentist who graduated from Reseda High School before completing his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside. He earned a degree in biology, and went on to attend and graduate from the University of Southern California in 1992.
Dr. Hyun has been a practicing dentist for over 20 years. After gaining clinical experience from working in a variety of dental offices, he decided to take the plunge and purchase his own practice in the Los Angeles area. With his wealth of knowledge and expertise, Dr. Hyun has been able to serve the local community with high-quality, patient-centric care. He is dedicated to continually providing quality dental care to his patients and continues to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Hyun follows a conservative approach in his diagnosis and treatment, favoring minimal invasive procedures. He provides honest diagnosis and offers various treatment options to his patients. Dr. Hyun is an exceptionally caring and dedicated doctor who puts the comfort of his patients first. He takes the time to listen to each of his patients and understands the individual needs of each. He is known for his gentle, calming nature, and strives to make all of his patient's visits as stress-free as possible. Dr. Hyun is a devoted Christian and devoted family man. He is happily married with three sons and a daughter, all of whom are now adults. In addition to his commitment to faith and family, Dr. Hyun also dedicates his time to volunteer work in Baja, Mexico, helping needy kids. In his spare time, Dr. Hyun enjoys listening to music and exercising. He is an admirable person who leads by example and is an inspiration to many.
